Orange Luxembourg has announced that it has become an official partner of the Luxembourg Football Federation (LFF). The telecommunications operator wishes to support the development of football and its young talents in the country.
After launching the first official FIFA e-sport championship as part of the Orange eLeague in collaboration with the Luxembourg Football Federation, Orange is investing even more in football in Luxembourg. As of 6 July 2021, the telecommunications operator will become an official partner of the national football federation.
In this way, Orange wishes to show its support for the development of football in Luxembourg, both professional and amateur, and more specifically to assist the future generation of talent.
Corinne Lozé, CEO - Orange Luxembourg
"Football as a sport is part of the Orange Group's DNA. In many countries where we are present, we support this discipline through different actions. We particularly agree on the values of team spirit, solidarity and commitment."
Like the FLF, Orange Luxembourg also makes a priority of highlighting women's football.
Barbara Fangille, Head of Communication - Orange Luxembourg
"Diversity has always been a key concern for Orange. Through this partnership, we therefore aim to strengthen together the visibility and recognition of women's football in Luxembourg."
As it has been doing for several months, Orange Luxembourg will also continue, together with the LFF, to support the practice of e-sport, in particular by supporting FIFA e-sport talents in the same way as football talents.
With this two-year contract, Orange Luxembourg becomes a sponsor of the Luxembourg Football Federation, just like the VW Losch dealership, the BGL, the Lalux Group, Hornbach and the National Lottery, amongst others.
Paul Philipp, Chairman - Luxembourgish Football Federation
"The LFF highly appreciates this proof of trust and is convinced that Orange Luxembourg is the ideal partner for telecommunications."
