"Ivanilsonlpvm" of FC Atert Bissen, Orange eLeague season 4 champion

The grand final of the Orange eLeague took place this Saturday at the Shopping Center Cloche d'Or. This eSport competition, organised by the Fédération Luxembourgeoise de Football and Orange, is the official national competition for the EA Sports FC 24 game. Ivanilsonlpvm player from FC Atert Bissen won the coveted title for the third year running and will represent Luxembourg internationally.
Bertrange, 29 April 2024 - On Saturday 27 April, the Luxembourg Football Federation and Orange organised the grand final of the Orange eLeague Season 4 at the Shopping Center Cloche d'Or. 20 players from 20 Luxembourg clubs battled it out over several weeks to claim the title of champion. After intense qualifying rounds, 8 finalists made it to the top and faced off this Saturday: LouisLux8, Jordan, LastKingKevin, Ivanilsonlpvm, xfabinhoo_, Saro_09x, Zking_BarcaZz and LxbFifa.
An exciting final
The final was also broadcast live on Twitch and kept viewers on the edge of their seats right to the end. After some tight matches and breathless suspense, it was finally Ivanilsonlpvm from FC Atert Bissen who came out on top and won the Orange eLeague Season 4 title! It was his third consecutive title.
Ivanilsonlpvm heads for London!
Thanks to its victory, Ivanilsonlpvm has qualified for the group stages of the eChampions League, which will take place in London on 11 and 12 May. He will have the opportunity to measure himself against the best EA Sports FC 24 players in the world and try to bring the title back to Luxembourg.
An exciting season
‘This season of the Orange eLeague has been a real success,’ comments Barbara Fangille, Head of Communications at Orange Luxembourg. ‘The level of play was even higher this year. We're proud to have been able to offer preparation and coaching to all the players with the support of Lunex, the University of Luxembourg.
Lunex, the University of Health, Sports and Management in Differdange, as part of our Orange Digital Centre. Our objective with the FLF is to help Luxembourg talent emerge and give them the keys to take part in major international competitions.
A promising future for Luxembourg eSport
‘The Orange eLeague is helping to democratise eSport in Luxembourg and identify new talent,’ says Gilles Faber, Head of eSport at the Luxembourg Football Federation. ‘With 2 divisions now up and running, we're determined to build on this momentum and make eSport a fully-fledged sporting discipline in Luxembourg, recognised and valued at all levels.’
A strong link between football and esport
Yvandro Borges Sanches, a player with Borussia Mönchengladbach and the Luxembourg national football team, came to support the players at the Cloche d'or on Saturday. He chatted with them about their experience. It was a great moment for the finalists, who were able to benefit from the advice and support of a professional player.
A great success for the Orange eLeague
Season 4 of the Orange eLeague was a resounding success, with more than 200 matches, record attendance and ever-growing public interest. This year, the competition moved up to a higher level with 2 divisions. This year's Orange eLeague has moved up a level, with two divisions, highlighting the Luxembourg eSport scene and showcasing the talent of the country's players.
