October 25th, 2023 - 6pm

Every year, we wait impatiently for Halloween to give us a good scare, and it's finally here again. Now one of our most popular end-of-year celebrations, Horror Night kicks off the long-awaited festive season. Whether you're a child or an adult, there are plenty of exciting activities in Luxembourg to enjoy during this festive period. Here are some ideas for a memorable Halloween.

Horror-filled fun for all the family

Halloween isn't just an excuse to dress up as a magician, scare the neighbours or feast on sweets, it's also a chance to have fun and share some family time together. Here's the programme for the next few days:

  • 29 October: The Haunted Labyrinth - A Halloween Adventure - at the Philharmonie de Luxembourg ;

  • 29 October: Halloween - A day of thrills for all the family! For this 2023 edition, the Neimënster is transformed into a haunted mansion and welcomes magicians to play tricks on the little ones. What's more, these masters of magic will reveal a few secrets of the trade. So you can try your hand at them at home.

  • 29 October: The Mama Shelter is holding its Mama's Halloween Brunch from 12.30 to 4pm, with the famous Kid's Halloween Party on the programme.

  • 31 October: Scary Halloween night hike at Echternach Youth Hostel. This activity can be done in two stages: a beginners' session is planned from 5.30pm to 7.30pm, but registration is compulsory. A free climbing session for more experienced climbers will run from 6pm to 10pm, with no registration required. Disguises are welcome.

Finally, throughout Halloween week, Cinémathèque will be showing horror classics for the less adventurous to watch with the family.

Frightening moments with your friends?

Halloween is all about dressing up in your favourite costume for an evening out with friends, colleagues or lovers. Here's the programme to kick off the festive season:
