Digitising folders: less paper and more convenience
November 9th, 2023 - 10am
Today, digital transformation is an effective way of reducing a company's carbon footprint. This often involves digitising paper catalogues, which are tending to disappear. What are the benefits of this transition?
The advantages of a dematerialised catalogue
Improved accessibility
The first advantage of an online folder is its ease of access. You no longer need to wade through piles of paper brochures to find the offer that suits your needs. With a simple click, you can now access the catalogues of a wide range of companies from your smartphone or computer: that's a significant saving of time and effort.
Moreover, the offers can be consulted at any time and wherever you are: at home, at work, on public transport, or even in a shop.
A more interactive experience
Unlike paper versions, digital catalogues offer the possibility of integrating interactive elements, making your experience more enjoyable: the addition of hypertext links, for example, lets you click on the offers that interest you to get more information and pictures. Seduced by a product? Adding it to your shopping basket is just a click away.
Environmentally friendly
Digitising paper catalogues is also good for the environment: less paper means less trees cut down and less waste. Environmentally conscious consumers often appreciate the choice of digital formats, as it reduces the carbon footprint of their purchases.
Where can I find Orange Luxembourg offers?
Every month, Orange Luxembourg selects the best deals of the moment for you and compiles them in an exclusive folder. Although still available in shops, it is no longer sent to Luxembourg letterboxes in order to reduce waste. The same applies to customer invoices, which are now sent exclusively to customers digitally.
On the website
Don't panic though, the folder is still available. You can find it on the "Promotion" page of the orange.lu website.

On specialist platforms
At the same time, Orange has chosen to set up a presence on two Luxembourg platforms that are now well renowned:
The first is Biscuit: a handy app and website where you can find catalogues from many of the country's companies.
The second, Woodee, also offers digital catalogues from Luxembourg companies, and posts of their latest promotions.
