All you need to know about Schueberfouer 2023

The Grand Duchy's must-see funfair is back for a new edition. And Orange has a few surprises in store for you!

The Grand Region's not-to-be-missed funfair

The region's biggest funfair is back, as it has been for over 670 years between the end of August and the beginning of September. Discover the unique atmosphere of this event combining innovation, tradition, thrilling attractions and gastronomy at the Champ du Glacis from Wednesday 23 August to Monday 11 September.

What's new at Schueberfouer 2023

Schueberfouer means rides...

As well as the traditional "Bellevue" Ferris wheel, the Gromperkichelcher and the famous mascot Lamy, this 2023 edition has a few new features to offer.

The highest transportable looping ride in the world "The Gladiator", will be taking part in the Schueberfouer for the first time this year. It's sure to delight thrill-seekers. The "Wild Maus XXL", an extraordinary rollercoaster, will be offering visitors the chance to board with virtual reality goggles, making this obstacle course even more impressive. A nice surprise after 8 years of absence.

There's something new for children too, with Ballonfahrt, offering hot-air balloon rides for young and old alike. It's also a great opportunity to get up in the air and take in the sights and sounds of the rides and the Glacis square.

...but also food!

Your stomachs will be spoilt too. As well as the classics, there are a few new attractions coming to Luxembourg this year.

The "Taverne Gambrinus" for example is taking over from the "Taverne Op der Fouer".

"Die Backfischrutsche" will be serving "gebakene Fësch" and other fish-based specialities, served from a toboggan - a sight worth seeing.

For other novelties, head to the "Pornet" to try pizzas in cones, and cool off in the cocktail bar "The Alchimist".
