Press Release

Luxembourg, January 26th 2022

5G roaming is now a reality with Orange Luxembourg! Thanks to a partnership with France, Spain, and Poland, the operator's customers can now enjoy the 5G network outside Luxembourg's borders at no extra cost through the data included in their package. Orange Luxembourg is the first operator in the Grand Duchy to offer this service.

Orange Luxembourg is further rolling out its 5G network across the country. Since the end of December, Orange Luxembourg users can also enjoy a 5G mobile network connection while roaming in France, Spain, and Poland.

Claire Ledoux, Marketing Director - Orange Luxembourg

"Orange Luxembourg is the first operator in the Grand Duchy to offer its customers 5G roaming. It was essential for us to meet the demand of our subscribers and allow them to enjoy 5G speeds when traveling on business or on holiday. The list of countries allowing 5G roaming is expected to grow in the coming months."

Claire Ledoux, Marketing Director - Orange Luxembourg

"Thanks to the international dimension of the Orange Group, we have concluded partnerships in 4G and 5G to ensure the same quality of network service to our customers when they travel outside Luxembourg's borders."

Orange Luxembourg customers will therefore be able to continue to surf in 5G in France, Spain, and Poland, at no extra cost via the data included in their package.

A new and more efficient 4G and 4G+ network

In addition to this initiative, Orange Luxembourg continues to deploy its 5G network throughout the country thanks to its partner Nokia. Through this rollout, Orange Luxembourg confirms its commitment to offer optimal connectivity to its customers.

In addition, Orange Luxembourg is renewing its entire 4G and 4G+ network.

Corinne Lozé, CEO - Orange Luxembourg

"The work we are carrying out on our 4G equipment will enable us to offer the best in terms of equipment and therefore network quality, but also to control our energy consumption."
