How do I top up my Orange Homebox connection?

When you have used up your 100GB volume at full speed, you will continue to benefit from an unlimited but slower connection (512 Kbps) until the end of the current month. This is the "Fair usage policy" which allows all our customers to benefit as equally as possible from the ultra-fast Internet and ensures that the mobile networks are not saturated.

If you want to get back to your usual browsing speed, simply opt for a "Speed Refill" which will allow you to reactivate 100GB at full speed. Follow the steps below on the web user interface of your Orange HomeBox to activate it:

  1. Connect to the Wi-Fi of "The Orange Homebox" from a smartphone or a computer.
  2. Open a web browser and type in: http://flybox.orange 
  3. Log in to the interface with your username and password. Please note that when you first log in, your default username and password are: admin / admin. To secure your account, we invite you to change your username and password the first time you log in. 
  4. Once logged in, select the Speed Refill option by clicking on the SMS compose button in the upper right corner of the SMS screen of the interface.
  5. Send an SMS from the interface with the word "Speed" to 60250 and your 100GB Speed Refill option will be activated in the next few minutes and you will be charged directly to your Orange bill.

 

Good to know:

  • Refills are available as needed each month for as long as you wish. This purchase is not mandatory. You will continue to have access to the Internet at no extra cost, but at a reduced speed until the end of the month. In any case, at the beginning of each calendar month, your account will be reset and you will get 100GB of broadband Internet again.
  • To avoid any unpleasant surprises, follow the consumption of your Orange Homebox package by logging into your Customer Area online at orange.lu.
