How do I install my Orange Homebox?

The Homebox is an Internet modem, which does not require installation or wiring in your home.

It is very easy to install:

  1. Insert the SIM card into your Homebox
  2. Plug your Homebox into an electrical outlet and turn it on to activate your Wi-Fi.
  3. Connect your devices to the Wi-Fi network of your Homebox (laptop, smartphones, tablets... you can connect up to 10 devices) following the steps below:
    • View the Wi-Fi networks on your device
    • Select the name of the Wi-Fi network available on your Homebox
    • Enter the security key available on your Homebox
  4. Browse and track your consumption on your online Customer Area.

Good to know

  • The Orange Homebox 4G can be installed anywhere in your home. All you need is an electrical outlet. To improve the network performance of your Homebox, we recommend that you check the network signal strength using the indicator on the front of your Homebox. Choose a location with multiple network bars to get the best throughput.
  • If you prefer to use a network cable instead of Wi-Fi, you can also connect an Ethernet port from the Orange Homebox modem to your computer.
  • If you are an advanced user, you can also configure your firewall to adapt the security to your needs.
  • The Orange Homebox Sim card can only be used with the modem offered in the shop. Another modem will not be equipped with the technology required to benefit from the Orange Homebox offer.
