How do I run a technical diagnostic on my Livebox?

A built-in diagnostic tool in your Livebox allows you to troubleshoot your Internet or Wi-Fi services. This tool automatically analyzes your services and performs necessary repairs if needed.

To quickly check the status of your Livebox:

  1. Launch the My Livebox Fiber application on your smartphone or tablet while connected to your Livebox's Wi-Fi network.
  2. On the home page, an image representing your Livebox will be displayed at the top of the screen. This image will be green if all your services are functioning correctly.
  3. Clicking on this image will reveal two icons representing your different services: Internet and Wi-Fi. A small green checkmark is displayed next to each service that is functioning properly. If any of your services are not functioning correctly or are unavailable, a red cross will be displayed.

To run the Internet diagnostic from the application:

  1. Click on the Internet icon.
  2. On the next screen, tap the "RUN INTERNET DIAGNOSTIC" button.
  3. You will be prompted to specify the issue encountered.
  4. The diagnostic will begin, and you should follow its progress on your device as actions may be required.
  5. An analysis of the various components of the service will be displayed, with an icon indicating the status of each analyzed element.
  6. A final screen displaying the diagnostic report with any recommended actions will be presented.

If your Internet service is functioning correctly, the message "Internet is operational" will be displayed. Click "Continue" to return to the application home page.

To run the Wi-Fi diagnostic from the application:

  1. Click on the Wi-Fi icon.
  2. On the next screen, tap the "Run Wi-Fi Diagnostic" button.

  4. An analysis of the various components of the service will be displayed, with an icon indicating the status of each analyzed element.
  5. A final screen displaying the diagnostic report with any recommended actions will be presented.

If your Wi-Fi service is functioning correctly, the message "Wi-Fi operational" will be displayed. Click "Continue" to return to the application home page.
